Help others to leave the building, but do not endanger yourself. Close all doors so that smoke and fire cannot spread. If the stairwell is on fire, close your front door and move to a room where the windows can be easily reached by the fire brigade. Close the door of this room too and wait for help at an open window. Never jump out of the window in panic. Never use a lift. |
